Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches participants to provide first aid, perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. Completion of Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED courses will grant AHA Course Completion Cards.

Is AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED the right course for me?

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs an OSHA-compliant course completion card—or anyone who simply wants to be ready to respond in an emergency.

Heartsaver CPR AED teaches participants how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. The course is based on the latest science-based guidance from the American Heart Association.

Heartsaver CPR AED covers essential lifesaving skills, including:

• Recognizing the signs of a heart attack or stroke

• Adult CPR and AED use

• Choking relief for adults, children, and infants

• Drowning prevention and response

• Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

• Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
